Some of our favorite hiking trails include the nature trails at Kauffman Memorial Gardens, the paved trail at Swope Park, and the challenging trails at Longview Lake.
Explore Powell Gardens.
Take a short drive to the suburbs of Kansas City and explore Powell Gardens. This beautiful botanical garden is home to acres of gardens, nature trails, and a children’s garden that will keep the kids entertained for hours.
Visit the Crown Center.
The Crown Center is a family-friendly shopping and entertainment complex in downtown Kansas City. It features a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as an aquarium, science center, and art museum.
