Of all the local small businesses promoted, helicopter rides were the entry point for tours we promoted, and that enabled the ability to expand beyond our core competency. That perspective in the sky lets you see the city differently.
What started as a scrappy “news you can use” email promoting offers became KC’s favorite insider feed for grown-up fun (21+), with a few smart picks when the kids are tagging along.
From day one we’ve been collaborator-led—not a faceless marketplace. We call it #Only1KC: real stories, real hosts, small groups, and genuine hospitality so people come as strangers, leave as friends. Built by a longtime KC promoter and powered by local partners, we’ve kept it simple: fewer layers, more value, more availability.
